In Mar 2019, civil war in Rakhine, Myanmar escalated and all NGOs retreated. Yeap persisted and negotiated with Myanmar military and Arakan Army for entry into the war zone, bringing medical aids and food supply to 9 townships in Rakhine, also also constructed temporary shelter for civilians who fled the war zone.
